Aircraft

Classes, not a fleet.

Ashmere does not own or operate aircraft. The five classes below are how the industry talks about size. Figures are typical, not guaranteed, and they vary by type, winds, and the operator.

Hourly bands are illustrative retail ranges used only to sketch a ballpark. They are not quotes.

Light jet

Typical passengers 4–7
Typical range 1,100–1,800 nm
Illustrative hourly $2,800$4,500

Short hops: city pairs of two to three hours, regional weekends, a tight FBO-to-FBO day.

Cabins are efficient rather than spacious. Baggage is limited. Best when the routing is modest and the party is small.

Midsize jet

Typical passengers 6–8
Typical range 1,800–2,400 nm
Illustrative hourly $4,000$6,200

The working horse of domestic charter: coasts on a good day, most US city pairs without fuss.

Stand-up cabin on many types, a proper lavatory, and enough hold for real luggage. Still not a transoceanic airplane.

Super-midsize jet

Typical passengers 8–10
Typical range 2,800–3,500 nm
Illustrative hourly $5,500$8,200

Coast-to-coast with reserve, or a quiet hop to the Caribbean or Mexico without stretching the machine.

Often the right answer when midsize range is tight and a heavy jet is more airplane than the trip needs.

Heavy jet

Typical passengers 10–14
Typical range 3,500–4,800 nm
Illustrative hourly $8,000$12,500

Transcontinental with cabin space to work, or near-oceanic legs when the party is larger.

Cabin staff are more common. Operating costs rise quickly. Availability is a function of the operator, not a website fleet list.

Ultra-long-range jet

Typical passengers 12–16
Typical range 5,500–7,500 nm
Illustrative hourly $12,000$18,500

True intercontinental work: New York to Europe, the West Coast to Asia, when time and a bed matter.

These are scarce and priced accordingly. A request is the start of a conversation with operators — not a reservation.

Any dollar figures shown on this site are illustrative range estimates only. They are not quotes, not offers, and not confirmed pricing. Confirmed pricing is provided only after a licensed direct air carrier has reviewed the trip.
